====== GURPS ======

I quite like GURPS, though it has its problems. 4th edition has fixed a lot of things, but also made some things worse.

GURPS always was the ultimate generic system, if only because of the huge number of high quality source books. Unlike [[Hero]], it also had quite a bit of flavour.

The big change to 4th is that advantages and disadvantages are now a lot more flexible and consistant. This has caused it to be a lot more Hero like. There are now lots of modifiers for +10% or -5% to the cost of things depending on how they are used (is it a natural ability or magic?), which turns it into flavourles number crunching.

Much of it can be ignored, but I consider this something to avoid.
