DeltaVee Mechanics

The basic mechanics are based around the d10. There will be a requirement for lots of d10s to be rolled at once (much like Warhammer uses d6s).

Damage Die

When rolling for damage, roll a number of dice. If a die rolls 6-10, then it causes one point of damage. A roll of 1-5 has no effect. The damage die represents a skill roll, the number of damage dice represent the amount of damage.

Movement and Distance

All distances are measured in generic measurement units, labelled as (”). They are normally assumed to be inches on the tabletop, though can just as easily be centimetres.

Each 1” represents 1000km of distance in the real world.

Time

Each round represents about 15 minutes of real time.

Scales

There will be a number of different scales, each 10x the scale of the previous one. Scales are generally used for ship sizes and damages, not for distances.
