Animals

Animals are just a subtype of Creatures. They are dumb and stupid, and have little in the way of combat ability. If attacked, they will generally run or put up a poor defence.

Animals will have some Traits which govern their behaviour. Traits are not unique to animals, but are something all creatures have.

Animal Traits

A trait consists of a name and a score, and generally range from -5 to +5.

  • Coward. Affects chance of just running.
  • Herd. Animals with the Herd trait will tend to act as a group. If there are six herd animals in a field, and one runs, they will all run. If one attacks, they will all attack.
  • Wanderlust. Chance of the animal wandering somewhere.

Animal Properties

Animals will tend to have the following properties. A property is a name/value pair where the value is a string.

Property Description
home Id of location this animal considers as home. Will try to return here.
limit.area Id of the area the animal is normally limited to. Will not wander from here.
owner Id of the person who owns the animal.
