Samuel Penn

I'm a Java software developer living in Hampshire, England, and currently working at Perforce Software as a Java Cloud Developer. In my previous life I worked with EDMS' such as Livelink, Alfresco, Hyperwave, Documentum and FileNET. I've been working in document management for almost 15 years. Before that I studied Computer Science/AI at Edinburgh University, and prior to that I wrote various games and simulations in assembler and BBC Basic.

Hobbies include gaming (computer games, roleplaying games, wargames and boardgames), reading, managing my Linux servers and programming overly complex simulations of the universe. I have a couple of Sourceforge projects, Mapcraft and Yagsbook, an open source RPG called Yags and I wrote the Cities Mapping Project.
