Action Points

Action Points are spent when performing certain special actions. They are a possible rule proposed as a solution to fix certain armour/fatigue issues with minimal complexity.

Every character has a number of action points (AP) equal to their Stamina. They also gain some from other sources, such as techniques or possibly just plain skill levels (like one per four levels of highest combat skill).

Using the aggressive stance costs 1 AP.

A number of techniques also cost 1 AP (such as killing blow, or disarm).

Spending a round doing nothing gains back AP equal to Stamina.
