Some alternative stats for Yags War, based on some discussion on the freeroleplay mailing list. The idea is for something simple and generic.
Stats are: Move, Quality, Grit, Wounds.
All stats default to 4, except move (8) and Wounds (1).
How far someone can move tactically, in inches.
Troop quality. Better quality troops can fighter better (hitting and shooting), act faster and are better disciplined.
Combination of general hardiness and damage resistance. Armour adds to it.
How many wounds a figure can suffer before dying.
